Nepal World Healing Exchange Trip

Nepal World Healing Exchange Trip
October 23 – November 7, 2009

Acupuncturists Without Borders is beginning an international program called World Healing Exchange, and this two week Nepal trip is our founding journey!

The intention of this program is to provide service and training in communities around the world and to learn from indigenous and traditional healers in these locations about their healing practices.

An important part of these journeys is also for us to renew and refresh, and to deepen our own practices that support the work we each do. The trip is open to all healers. We invite you to join us!

Each day of the trip will weave inner practice with outer practice, service to the spirit with service to others.  The program will culminate in a trek to Chiwong Monastery and the Mani Rimdu festival.  We will spend a few extraordinary sacred days at this festival, the focus of which is on transformation of society toward wisdom, compassion and service.

During this special program we will offer free acupuncture clinics in Kathmandu and local monasteries, meet with, and learn from, traditional healers, provide training to local people, trek in one of the most profoundly moving mountain ranges in the world and have the opportunity to experience sacred places throughout the Kathmandu Valley.

Acupuncturists Without Borders first international program will combine healing, service, practice and culture in a way that we hope will leave you inspired, renewed and committed to the vision of a better world. We hope you will come along for the journey.

All healers are welcome to come! For more information go to http://wildearthjourneys.com/manirimdu.htm
