I have been liscenced in Acupuncture since 2004, graduating from the Oregon Col of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) a 4 year masters program in 2004 after attaining a Bachelors of Arts in Biological Sciences with an interest in Medical Anthropology from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
I became an Acupuncturist because of how phenomenal the medicine is, the side effects are that you feel better in ways that you don't expect...I have had my own experiences with Acupuncture in the early 1990's that really changed the course of my life, and I see that change everyday in my clinic with treating patients who have been told "this is something that your going to have to live with..." and then with only a few sessions, they no longer are living with the condition. THATS the spark that makes my job wonderful.
