Jamie Koonce, Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Oriental Medicine specializes in women's health, with individually tailored treatment programs for women with infertility, menstrual disorders, and stress/anxiety issues. Distance consultations available for herbal prescriptions and nutrition.

Jamie Koonce is licensed by the State of Arizona as a Licensed Acupuncturist, and the State of Arkansas as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. She holds certifications from the National Certification Committee for Oriental Medicine in Acupuncture, Herbology, and Oriental Medicine, and by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Jamie received her Oriental Medical training at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California, where she graduated with a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, which consists of over 3,000 hours of coursework requiring four years of year-round graduate school. Jamie achieved her BA in sociology/anthropology from Hendrix College. Dr. Koonce is skilled at treating patients with a wide variety of ailments. After completion of her internship treating patients at San Diego Hospice, the Downtown San Diego Free Clinic, and at the Pacific College clinic (in both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture and herbal formulation), Jamie went directly into private practice successfully treating people with a variety of health conditions and fitness goals. She has worked with yoga practitioners, highly trained athletes, children, and adults of all ages. Her gentle needling technique and sensitivity allows her to work with patients who are needle sensitive or even fearful of acupuncture.

Jamie Koonce has contributed to the health briefs and featured articles of Natural Awakenings magazine (Central Arkansas edition), and has also been featured in several local publications throughout Arkansas. She is cited in the August and September '08 issues of Yoga Journal regarding the uses and benefits of Chinese herbal remedies and traditional probiotic superfoods.

Jamie has guided many of her patients toward better health through the use of acupuncture and customized herbal supplements, and she is confident that she can help you, too, experience optimal health!
